Friendship

Friendship is the feeling that two friends have between
himself. It's a kind of love, based on camaraderie
and partner, but it did not
necessarily a sexual denotation, although two lovers can feed
with each other the feeling of friendship. The feeling also exists between people and
animals and often we even see animals nourishing the feeling between them,
even between different species, such as when pet dogs and cats
they behave like real friends.

Friendship is that feeling that transforms two independent people
in the brothers, in a relationship where sincerity,
loyalty, devotion et of complicity
establish oneself. So, two friends will exchange confidences, give advice
mutual support, support in difficult times, help to solve problems and
especially will have fun together, always motivated by the fact that we do the
the other feels good and the feeling of wanting the other to feel good.

Friendship is then a feeling that has always been present in history
of humanity and there is no reason not to believe that he was also present
among the ancestors of human beings. Because besides being a feeling that
brings comfort and well-being, it was also crucial for survival
of the species to nurture companionship and trust, to enable people or
groups become stronger because they are united in the face of adversity.

Friendship Symbols

In ancient Greece, friendship was represented by the figure of a beautiful
young woman with one hand on her heart while in the other hand she brings
with an elm branch, a tree europen. In ancient Rome, the representation
friendship was similar, with a young woman in a white dress, having
his head a crown of flowerseurs and in one of his hands two hearts which were the
strongest symbol of friendship in representation, two hearts united,
connected, comrades.

In literature and in the arts, friendship has inspired manyeurs classics. At
cinema films such as the Gordo and Magro series, or the film Conta Comigo; in the
visual arts Rafael's aerial school shows the friendship between
Aristotle and Plato; in literature, we have Don Quixote and Sancho Pança, Os Três
Musketeers, O Auto da Compadecida with João Grilo and Chicó, also successful
cinema, among many others.

Over the years and in different traditions, certain symbols have been
adopted to symbolize friendship. Among these we have, for example, the loop, the
infinity, the yellow rose, hand in hand and the bird.

Link - the loop is something that unites, holds, connects and
often done with beauty and grace, well served as a symbol of
friendship. In this sense, we have the expression “bonds of friendship”.

Infinite - the infinity symbol is this representation
which looks like an eight, where it is not possible to identify a beginning or an end.
Also used as a symbol of friendship reinforces the idea that friendship
the true is eternal.

Heart - the heart as a symbol of love and
pure feelings can therefore also be used as a symbol of friendship. Because
as the song by Milton Nascimento says, the friends we keep on the left side of the
chest, heart.

Bird - an ancient tradition associated with birds
messengers of the gods. And in this way they can be the symbol of the friendship of the gods
towards men.

Main dans la main - in India friends go hand in hand with
streets, without it having a homosexual connotation. Hand in hand represent
union, connection and therefore symbolize friendship very well.

A yellow rose - traditionally, while roses
red is used as a symbol of passion, yellow roses can be used
to symbolize friendship.
